Adam Price
Director
Adam is a qualified commercial pilot and flight instructor with
a 20 year international career that encompasses charter, low level
geophysical survey as well as agricultural and fire aviation
operations, with experience in over 40 different aircraft types
ranging from multi engine and turbine aircraft to gliders and sport
aeroplanes.
As a certified ISO 9001:2000 lead auditor Adam has conducted over 80 aviation audits worldwide ranging from national flag carriers to small fixed and rotary wing charter operators as well as offshore helidecks and land based fixed wing and helicopter landing areas.
Adam’s regulatory experience includes the development and implementation of corporate aviation standards, operations manuals, safety management system reviews including risk assessment, management and mitigation in the aviation environment as well as holding Chief Pilot and training and checking positions in both the government and private sector.
Adam lives on a small property in the South West of Western Australia and in his spare time enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and four children as well flying his 1959 Cessna aircraft for purely pleasure.
Leslie McChesney
Director
Leslie attained her Glider and Pilot
licences as a teenager and has been involved in aviation for the
past 25 years in a variety of roles.
She studied aircraft maintenance and soon after joined DeHavilland
Canada working in production and prototype projects including
the Dash 8, Dash 7 and Twin Otter. From there she moved to
the flight training industry working with companies designing
flight simulators and maintenance training devices for both
civilian and military applications. In the mid 90’s she
entered the Airborne Geophysics industry where she worked
internationally in a range of key managerial and safety
positions.
Throughout her career Leslie has maintained a strong commitment to safety including positions as a Safety Officer, Safety Manager and OH&S representative.
Leslie is also a certified ISO 9001:2000 lead auditor. She
has worked as an Aircraft Maintenance Controller, QA Inspector and
has extensive documentation experience developing manuals,
standards and operational systems globally.
John Pocock
Aviation Advisor
John has a Bachelor of Business
(Distinction) degree, Australian Airline Transport Licence, FAA
Airline Transport Licence and aCommand Instrument Rating. John’s
aviation experience includes General Manager and line pilot and he
has held a Head of Aircraft Airworthiness and Maintenance Control
position. He is an experienced charter pilot, endorsed on the Beech
1900, Beech King Air 200 and DeHavilland Dash 8 turbine aircraft.
He also has an extensive background in heavy engineering, financial
management and information technology, including operating his own
consulting business for nearly 10 years.
John is a certified ISO9001:2008 Lead Auditor and specialises in conducting compliance and operational audits. He is able to bring a unique set of skills to any consulting engagement since he is both an accountant and experienced pilot. Given his financial qualifications, background and aviation financial consulting experience, he is qualified to conduct financial assessments of aviation companies for the purposes of tender evaluation. He is also very interested in the effect of financial stability or lack thereof on operational risk.
John’s regulatory experience includes the development and implementation of operations manuals, maintenance manuals, minimum equipment lists and negotiations with the regulator concerning compliance issues. He has also held Chief Pilot (overseas) and CAR 5.23 and Check Pilot(A) approvals.
John lives in Helena Valley in Perth Western Australia and in his spare time enjoys, woodwork, music, photography and spending time with his wife Meryl, 2 children and grandchildren.
